There is no single surgery for trans women or men. Gender affirmative procedures can range from noninvasive laser hair removal, facial reconstruction, chest reconstruction and genital reconstruction. Usually, people imagine that the holy grail of reconstructive surgery is bottom surgery but they don’t realize that this is usually a series of operations and there are alternative procedures available. Only about 40% of transgender people have actually undergone surgery. |
